What we do
We catalog protein products sold in the UK — powders, bars, shakes, snacks and more — and rank them with one transparent formula: the share of a product's calories that come from protein, scaled to 0–100. No black boxes, no paid placements. The exact maths is published on our methodology page.
How we make money — affiliate disclosure
Some of the buy links on ProteinScore are affiliate links. If you click one and make a purchase, the retailer may pay us a commission — at no extra cost to you.
Affiliate income keeps the lights on, but it never affects our scores or rankings. The efficiency score is the same public formula for every product, calculated from label nutrition data. A product cannot buy a better score, a higher ranking, or a kinder verdict — whether or not it carries an affiliate link changes nothing.
Where we show video reviews, they are independent creator content; we do not sell editorial coverage.
